Book to film

Can AI turn my novel into a full-length movie?

Yes. C.I.N.E.M.A. adapts your manuscript into a screenplay and then into a finished film — cast, every shot with dialogue, an original score and the final cut — from a 60-second book trailer up to a 90-minute feature. You steer the adaptation, see a firm price before anything is charged, and you own everything it makes.

How it works

From manuscript to movie.

  1. Upload your manuscript (.pdf, .docx, .txt or .md). You get a word count and a firm price before anything is charged.
  2. Set the adaptation lens: the audience, the genre, and how faithful to stay to the book.
  3. Get the screenplay, then the production bible: your characters, locations and props, built from your own story.
  4. Storyboard and shots: a first frame for every shot, then every shot generated, performed and lip-synced.
  5. Score and final cut: original music and sound, titles and credits, a poster and a trailer.

Many authors start with a ~60-second book trailer for a launch, then expand the same project into the full film — the trailer stays intact and editable. Get a free estimate for your book (no account needed).

Full length

What a feature takes.

Length is set by your plan. On the Feature plan ($499 a month) a 90-minute film takes about nine months of credits at balanced quality; on Studio ($1,499 a month), about three. Faster models stretch that further; premium ones produce fewer minutes for the same spend.

Questions

Asked and answered.

Do I need to write a screenplay first?

No. C.I.N.E.M.A. writes the screenplay from your manuscript, and you can rewrite any scene yourself or ask C.A.R.M.E.N., the in-app AI director, to do it.

Will my characters look the same all the way through?

Yes. Each character is designed and voiced once, from your book, and every shot is made from those references.

Do you keep my manuscript?

No. The source text is discarded once the adaptation has been produced, and we never train AI on your work.

Who owns the film?

You do — the film, the characters and the score, to sell, license or submit.

Can someone make it for me?

Yes. Alongside the self-serve app, our team makes films for clients from their book or script, each quoted individually.
